Every Allosauroid

Description

Eh I was going to save this for 100 watchers but 100 is just a number, same as 99 or 101 or 14 or 247. So I'm giving it now, nice. This chart has every described allosauroid. If you want to see my opinions on the phylogenetic relationships between these animals, I have done a cladogram of Allosauroidea [now outdated]. Okay time for the juicy animals.

Edit 3/2/18
Complete revamp of the chart
A ton of changes that I'll allow you guys to look for yourselves
Well I'll give a few hints: New skeletals for Neovenatorines and Basal Carcharodontosaurids
I revised my Allosaurus phylogeny and scaling
row 3 stole Eocarcharia and Erectopus from row 4
Kelmayisaurus is not a neovenatorine anymore

Edit 3/3/18
Hm i changed some carcharodontosaurid phylogeny and stuff and added Altispinax

Edit 7/3/18
Silhouette updates for Allosaurus and neovenatorines
Mass updates for the metriacanthosaurids and allosaurids (and Erectopus)

Animals are listed from Left to Right
Row 1 is the top row, Row 4 is the bottom one.

ROW 1 {Metriacanthosauridae}

Yangchuanosaurus shangyouensis
~10.2 meters long
~2500 kilograms?
Notes: Largest metriacanthosaurid. But the other species of Yangchuanosaurus is the smallest one... very intersting. Mass estimates on this one are iffy, but this is near where it probably should be.

Sinraptor hepingensis
~9.25 meters long
~2150 kilograms
Notes: It's Sinraptor.

Sinraptor dongi
~7.95 meters long
~1365 kilograms
Notes: It's Sinraptor but smaller.

Siamotyrannus isanensis
~7.9 meters long
~1340 kilograms
Notes: From Southeast Asia nice.

Shidaisaurus jinae
~7.4 meters long
~1100 kilograms
Notes: It's difficult to come up with unique notes for every metriacanthosaurid okay...

Metriacanthosaurus parkeri
~7.25 meters long
~1035 kilograms
Notes: Type species of the family Metriacanthosauridae.

Xuanhanosaurus qilixiaensis
~5.6 meters long
~400-450 kilograms?
Notes: Not always considered a metriacanthosaurid, I have placed it here tentatively.

Yangchuanosaurus zigongensis
~3.65 meters long
~100-125 kilograms?
Notes: Ahhh a tiny Yangchuanosaurus

ROW 2 {Allosauridae}

Allosaurus maximus
~10.6 meters long
~4100 kilograms
Notes: Commonly called "Saurophaganax" maximus.

Allosaurus fragilis
~9.2 meters long
~2400 kilograms
Notes: The most famous Jurassic theropod, undoubtedly. May include A. europaeus.

Allosaurus europaeus
~8.2 meters long
~1700 kilograms
Notes: Perhaps A. fragilis, upcoming paper has the intent of reasserting the validity of this species.

Gasosaurus constructus
~
4.1 meters long
~210 kilograms
Notes: Has an English word in its genus name which is very rare.

ROW 3 {Basal Carcharodontosauridae}

Acrocanthosaurus atokensis
~11.55 meters long
~6110 kilograms
Notes: I mean... it's Acrocanthosaurus.

Veterupristisaurus milneri
~11.0 meters long
~5350 kilograms
Notes: The largest specimen is based on the "A. tendagurensis" tibia and is depicted here, the holotype caudals suggest a very large animal as well. This is also my favorite dinosaur for some reason.

Siats meekerorum
~10.4 meters long
~3600 kilograms
Notes: Not fully grown, adult size uncertain.

Kelmayisaurus petrolicus
~8.0 meters long
~2050 kilograms
Notes: I previously had this as a neovenatorine, but Franoys cured me using the power of scientific papers

Eocarcharia dinops
~7.8 meters long
~1900 kilograms
Notes: It lived with the much larger Suchomimus

Neovenator salerii
~7.2 meters long
~1200 kilograms
Notes: It lived with Baryonyx

Altispinax dunkeri
~5.3 meters long
~500 kilograms
Notes: It's pretty shitty but that's okay everyone is unique

Concavenator corcovatus
~5.0 meters long
~425 kilograms
Notes: Uhhh it's from Spain probably

Erectopus superbus
~4.5 meters long
~290 kilograms
Notes: Not much to say about this fragmentary thing

ROW 4 {Derived Carcharodontosauridae}

Giganotosaurus carolinii
~12.25 meters long
~6840 kilograms
Notes: Giant and southern. Also type species of Giganotosaurini. It is one of the top 3 largest giganotosaurini.

Mapusaurus roseae
~12.2 meters long
~6800 kilograms
Notes: Not actually a planet. It is one of the top 3 largest giganotosaurini.

Carcharodontosaurus saharicus
~11.8 meters long
~6325 kilograms
Notes: Type species of Carcharodontosauridae and Carcharodontosaurinae and Carcharodontosaurus. Also cool I think.

Tyrannotitan chubutensis
~11.5 meters long
~6400 kilograms
Notes: Not a tyrannosaur or titanosaur. It is also one of the top 3 largest giganotosaurini.

Shaochilong maortuensis
~4.5 meters long
~350 kilograms
Notes: Surprisingly not the only Asian Carcharodontosaurid. Kelmayisaurus is Asian too.

I do not take credit for the skeletals used to create the silhouettes.
All the skeletals used were from: :iconijreid:, :iconscotthartman:, :iconspinoinwonderland:, :iconrandomdinos:, :iconfranoys:, :iconalternateprehistory: and GSP.
